A complete suite of virtual desktop services for teachers and students, Huawei’s FusionCloud Desktop uses the industry-leading Huawei Desktop Protocol (HDP) to instantly eliminate the myriad problems faced when trying to create multimedia classrooms using traditional PCs: from a lack of dedicated IT personnel, to poor data security, high power consumption, and ultimately, escalating costs.
Huawei’s FusionCloud Desktop enables a single console to effectively manage thousands of desktops — all of which share data center resources, for more effective overall resource utilization — vastly improving Operations and Maintenance (O&M) efficiency.
In multimedia classrooms, libraries, training rooms, and offices, teachers and students use multiple terminals to access various virtual desktops and applications, as well as to connect to various peripherals. Supported terminals include Thin Clients (TCs), portable computers, tablets, smartphones, Set Top Boxes (STBs), and more.
Huawei’s Cloud Classroom enables users to connect to virtual desktops anytime, anywhere, accessing data and using applications stored in the Data Center (DC), conveniently and securely. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) provides virtual desktops based on server virtualization technologies.
Huawei — in cooperation with partners — works with education departments to develop education-specific solutions that ensure schools and universities, and ultimately students, are provided with positive learning environments that encourage collaboration.
Compared to traditional desktops, an enhanced user experience offers 1080p resolution, with industry-leading voice and video recording capabilities.
Teaching activities are streamlined, with one-click deployment, self-service O&M, and minute-level fault recovery.
Security management is assured with Huawei’s cloud-pipe-device strategy, providing a secure and reliable teaching environment for teachers and students alike.
