Wi-Fi 6 market leader

Major contributor towards Wi-Fi 6 standards

Faster and more stable experience

  • Wi-Fi 6 market leader

Huawei AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 Ranks No. 1 Globally (Excluding North America), According to Dell'Oro Group

Huawei Wi-Fi 6 ranks No. 1 in the global market (excluding North America), according to the report on global Wi-Fi 6 indoor AP market share from 2018 Q3 to 2019 Q3 by Dell'Oro Group, a leading independent market analysis and research firm.

The report shows that the overall revenue of the global Wi-Fi 6 market grew explosively in the first three quarters of 2019, growing to 30 times that of 2018. This signifies 2019 as being the first year of Wi-Fi 6 commercial use.

Huawei is a leader in the Wi-Fi 6 market. With its AirEngine Wi-Fi 6, Huawei took the lead in deploying the industry's first enterprise-class Wi-Fi 6 network in Shanghai as early as 2018. Since then, Huawei AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 has been put into large-scale commercial use across countries and regions such as Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, South Africa, China, and India.

  • Major contributor of Wi-Fi 6 standards

Huawei is a major contributor in the coming Wi-Fi 6 era

Wi-Fi 6, the sixth generation of the Wi-Fi standard, introduces key 5G technologies, such as Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA), uplink Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO), and higher-order coding 1,024-QAM. Wi-Fi 6 achieves four times higher network bandwidth and four times more concurrent users than Wi-Fi 5, as well as reducing the average network latency from 30 milliseconds to 20 milliseconds. Huawei experts are chairpersons of five 802.11 standard working groups. With such extensive understanding and strong expertise in 5G technologies, Huawei is a major contributor to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standards.

  • Best experience

Wi-Fi 6 products powered by Huawei 5G ensure the best business experience

10 Gbps and Beyond: Unique 16T16R antenna, fiber-like experience

More Stable Coverage: Smart antenna, offering 20% wider coverage

More Stable Applications: SmartRadio Dynamic Turbo, VR with no frame freezing

More Stable Roaming: SmartRadio lossless roaming, ensuring service continuity

100 Mbps@Everywhere: AI-powered intelligent radio calibration, boosting performance by 58%

Do You Need Wi-Fi 6?

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) supports four times higher network bandwidth and user concurrency compared to Wi-Fi 5. And only Huawei AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 incorporates 5G-powered antenna and algorithm technologies to slash network latency — down from 30 ms to just 10 ms — eliminating any dizziness from the VR/AR experience, enabling wireless 4K HD conferences, and resulting in zero packet loss during AGV roaming.
Accelerate the digital transformation of enterprise across industries with Huawei Wi-Fi 6.
