Video backhaul networks face many challenges. Intelligent cameras are more widely used and resolution is shifting from HD (1080p) to ultra-HD (4K and 8K), creating higher bandwidth and network performance requirements for video backhaul networks.
Outdoor cameras are exposed to extreme weather such as heat, cold and storm, which makes devices vulnerable, single-point fault and link interruption also affect backhaul network. Besides, outdoor cameras are vulnerable to spoofing attack which put backhaul network at risk of threats.
