San Francisco, USA, February 25, 2014 – Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, was invited to attend RSA Conference 2014 being held in San Francisco from February 24 to 28. At this conference, Huawei put its latest idea of "Using Big Data Analytics to Secure Agile Network" on stage and showcased its latest security products and solutions.
As the most authoritative summit in the global security industry, the RSA Conference is held annually in turn in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Every year, the RSA Conference draws experts and top security vendors from around the world, as well as CIOs at the top of major enterprises, senior security experts, and academic elites. Together they discuss hot and important topics about network security and share their latest technologies and ideas with each other. The theme of this year's RSA Conference is "Share • Learn • Secure — Capitalizing on Collective Intelligence." The conference is aimed at building a platform for participants to share their experiences, learn and develop new ideas, and secure their future networks.
This year, Huawei marked its third appearance at the RSA conference by rolling out its Next Generation (NG) Anti-DDoS Solution product, which provides T-bit DDoS attack defense performance and can defend against application-layer DDoS attacks and DDoS attacks launched directly from mobile terminals in a full-scale manner. The T-bit high-performance data center firewall launched globally by Huawei at RSA Conference 2013 has passed the tests conducted by NSS Labs, Inc. in the U.S., and earned a "Recommended" rating becoming the industry's first T-bit data center firewall product to pass third-party certification. These two series of products featuring industry-leading performance are now leading the global security industry to an era of T-bit security protection, safeguarding Big Data services.
During the conference, Huawei presented multiple keynote speeches along with splendid onsite demonstrations to showcase its latest security solution to participants. As one of the key components of Huawei's Agile Network architecture, the company's latest idea of "Full-Scale Security Collaboration", which is based on Big Data analytics, can deploy security policies with more speed and accuracy than traditional single-point security protection mechanisms. Onsite audiences spoke highly of this idea. At the Huawei booth, Huawei's technical experts introduced to visitors the company's latest security products and solutions, including Huawei Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) which provides the most accurate access control feature in the industry as well as Enterprise Information Security, Agile Campus Security, and Cloud Data Center Security solutions. Moreover, Huawei demonstrated its innovative security capabilities onsite for the first time, allowing participants to experience Huawei's cloud sandbox technology and learn how Huawei's security products leverage this advanced, innovative technology to guard against advanced threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs).
