Utrecht, Netherlands, October 25, 2013 –Huawei, a leading global Information and Communications Technology solutions provider, today showcased a portfolio of network security solutions including Anti-DDoS and NGFW at Infosecurity Netherlands, drawing intense attention from exhibitors, visitors, local agents and customers.
Under the shadow of the "largest ever" DDoS attack in 2013, the whole industry, including the exhibitors and sponsors, is focusing on anti-DDoS solution. At the conference, most of the speeches and cases were on DDoS defense and over 10 vendors showcased their anti-DDoS solutions, among which Huawei Anti-DDoS solution drew deep attention. At the Huawei exhibition booth, the Anti-DDoS solution’s working and highlights were illustrated in a video. Many visitors seemed interested and some walked up to watch closely. They asked Huawei engineers for more technical details and success stories. Huawei Anti-DDoS solution has ever been successfully applied in Europe and other regions, and after this conference it came even closer to European customers.
TechAccess, a local integrator, also exhibited Huawei Anti-DDoS solution, because they trusted the solution and thought it was worthy of attention. Huawei and TechAccess ever conducted many POC (proof of concept) tests and cooperated in successful delivery of the solution to customers."Huawei Anti-DDoS solution has excellent performance and precise defense, and is easy to use. It is an advanced Anti-DDoS solution in the industry." Mr. Mohamed Massa, product manager at Tech Access, gave high appraisals on Huawei Anti-DDoS solution.
Huawei Anti-DDoS solution was developed based on a high-performance hardware platform and has integrated advanced DDoS detection mechanisms, such as the unique V-ISA reputation security system which defends against over 100 types of DDoS attacks with response within two seconds. It is a unique solution that provides 100G anti-DDoS defense on one device, and is intended as a target-comprehensive and precise DDoS defense weapon for carriers, enterprises, and IDC operators. Presently, this solution has been deployed in many countries and regions, such as South Africa, North America, Hong Kong, West Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific, and received appraisals from customers. As 40G and 100G networks are being deployed to meet the surging Internet bandwidth requirements, peak DDoS traffic is also increasing. To defend against the increasing DDoS attacks, Huawei will release a product with 100G defense per port and 1TG defense per device in the year 2014, the year that will see Huawei's another breakthrough in the DDoS defense area.
