Even though the data center market in the Middle East is relatively mature, the extremely high-temperatures of the natural environment imposes strict requirements on outdoor deployment. To address the challenge, Huawei has specifically developed the IDS1000 Container Data Center Solution with professional thermal designs, organically integrating all of the data center’s core components. Proven by thermal simulation and rigorous testing, Huawei’s IDS1000 data center possess logical internal design and high insulation performance to withstand temperatures from -40 ℃ to 55 ℃ (-40F to 131F), effectively addressing the requirements for outdoor deployment in the Middle East.

"Over the years, Huawei has accumulated rich experience in container data center planning, design, development, construction, operation and maintenance. IDS1000 possesses very strong environmental adaptability and can be rapidly deployed within one week, saving up to 30% in total cost of ownership (TCO) and thus gaining popularity with clients in the Middle East market," Said Mr. Elvis Xiao, Huawei’s IDS1000 Product Specialist, during the CIO Panel Discussion at the Conference.

Huawei’s container data center has performed very well in the current market space, with product sales representing some of the fastest growing in industry. The solution has been implemented in large-scale commercial deployment in regions all over the world. With its innovative design, the Huawei solution has also won the Data Center Blueprints Award from Datacenter Dynamics (known as the Oscars of the data center industry) .  In addition, Huawei’s desktop cloud container data center project has been awarded Tier III Design Certification by Uptime Institute, gaining broad industry recognition.
