Huawei shares its highly adaptable IDS1000 Container Data Center Solution at the Datacenter Dynamics Conference, featuring high temperature tolerance between -40°C and +55°C, and effectively addressing the challenge of outdoor deployment in the Middle East.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 28, 2013 — Huawei, a leading global information and communications solutions provider, participated as a gold medal sponsor to the Datacenter Dynamics Conference in Dubai on May 27, 2013. Centered on the highly adaptable data center solution IDS1000, Huawei shared its insights on the development of the data center industry at the event and hosted in-depth discussions with industry experts on future demand for data center deployment and on adaptable solutions in context of the Middle East.

Even though the data center market in the Middle East is relatively mature, the extremely high-temperatures of the natural environment imposes strict requirements on outdoor deployment. To address the challenge, Huawei has specifically developed the IDS1000 Container Data Center Solution with professional thermal designs, organically integrating all of the data center’s core components. Proven by thermal simulation and rigorous testing, Huawei’s IDS1000 data center possess logical internal design and high insulation performance to withstand temperatures from -40 ℃ to 55 ℃ (-40F to 131F), effectively addressing the requirements for outdoor deployment in the Middle East.

The solution has been implemented in large-scale commercial deployment in regions all over the world.With its innovative design, the Huawei solution has also won the Data Center Blueprints Award from Datacenter Dynamics (known as the Oscars of the data center industry) .  In addition, Huawei’s desktop cloud container data center project has been awarded Tier III Design Certification by Uptime Institute, gaining broad industry recognition.
