2010 NexCom Expo Huawei Wins Two Prizes

The Best Unified Communications Application Supplier Award (International) and The Best Softswitch Supplier Award (Carrier-class, International)

2010 Next Generation Network Communications Exposition (NexCom Expo), which is also China Enterprise Communications Conference (CECC) and China Wireless Communications Conference (CWCC), was held in Shanghai from September 17 to 19. Nearly 3000 professional visitors were present at this Expo. The visitors involve a wide range of industries including carriers, radio and television, power, railway, finance, insurance, education, logistics, transportation, and manufacture. Huawei Enterprise Service Product Line joined the Expo and shared construction cases of Huawei's unified communications and informationization. On this Expo, Huawei won The Best Unified Communications Application Supplier Award (international) and The Best Softswitch Supplier Award (carrier-class, international).

Mr. Chen Xuejun, Director of Huawei Enterprise Informationization Solution shared our experiences and views about how to build ICT system for enterprises, he said: “In the process of informationization, Huawei evolved the Business Cloud V2.0 architecture. This architecture takes the basic data network and data center as the fundamental hardware platform for informationization, and takes ICT as a soft capability platform. In this way, the architecture provides excellent support for the overall enterprise service. Information can be transmitted conveniently to employees through channels and terminals.”

As to Huawei’s unified communications, Mr. Chen Xuejun gave the penetrating statements: “The goal of constructing unified communications is simply to realize the efficient use of the enterprise service system. First, we must ensure that employees can use the communications and access information at any place just as they do at their offices, no matter they are actually inside or outside the offices, at hotels or in deserts. Second, the access method must be easy and efficient; we must ensure that employees can obtain needed information wherever they are. At last, we must ensure that frontline employees and experts in the background, employees and customers can communicate and share information efficiently.”
