Singapore, June 22, 2011 – Huawei, an industry-leading ICT solution provider, unveiled the eSight solution, its first enterprise operation and maintenance (O&M) solution, at CommunicAsia 2011. Huawei launched this breakout solution following its full range of industry-leading enterprise access routers (the AR G3 product series). These products developments are part of Huawei's strategy to set foot in the enterprise market. The Huawei eSight solution is a next-generation IP+IT unified network O&M system specifically developed for the enterprise market. The product complies with ITIL specifications and implements unified management of enterprise resources, service, and users. The Huawei eSight solution offers a convergent and open O&M platform that allows enterprises to conduct multidimensional operation and maintenance revolving around equipments, services, and users.
Huawei leveraged its understanding of ICT developments and expertise in the O&M field to meet various O&M requirements. The eSight solution offers different types of solutions for small businesses and medium- to large-sized enterprises. Based on Web 2.0, the eSight solution uses advanced SOA to implement unified management covering data communication, IT equipment, and wired and wireless fields. In response to customers' O&M requirements, eSight supports network service management and network traffic analysis. These added benefits will allow enterprises to implement meticulous management, associate enterprises' services with networks, and help create a more controllable and manageable future for enterprises.
The eSight solution also provides an open platform for enterprises, supporting seamless integration with existing OSS and O&M tools. The platform provides APIs that support secondary development so that enterprises and Huawei's partners can develop O&M tools that benefit them the most.
