[Barcelona, Spain, March 1, 2023] Huawei released the industry's first-ever entry-level primary and backup storage portfolio running on an A-A architecture at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2023. Using the new Huawei OceanStor Dorado 2000 and OceanProtect X3000, this portfolio solution is designed to help small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) build cost-effective data storage systems.
SMEs increasingly need entry-level storage solutions to accelerate their own digital transformations. However, many SMEs simply don't have the scale necessary to have the IT personnel and capabilities needed to achieve this. For many, data center O&M costs and service system instability are too high for them to bear.
To address these challenges, Huawei has developed this "entry-level" primary and backup storage portfolio for SMEs. The portfolio includes:
• Simple storing, using OceanStor Dorado 2000 which can be configured in just three steps, improving efficiency by 20%, reducing energy consumption by 30%, and achieving 99.9999% availability with a four-layer reliability mechanism;
• Easy backup using OceanProtect X3000 which comes with an A-A architecture to ensure failover in seconds, proactively predict capacity and performance, and simplify routine O&M, as well as compression technologies which enable an unmatched 20% higher compression performance; and
• Fast delivery using Huawei's extensive supply network backed by its global supply centers, with promising delivery in as little as two weeks.
