The simplified architecture is an innovative architecture proposed by Huawei in its CloudCampus 3.0 solution. It is a distributed architecture that consists of the central switch and plug and play remote units (RUs) which can extend the ports of the central switch. This flattens the network and simplifies the architecture. This document describes the fundamentals and typical application scenarios of the simplified architecture.
