Good morning, everyone!

Please stay with us as our journey towards the next stop accelerates. Thank you to our customers and partners who just shared their experiences with Huawei. You might have noticed the common thread: the powerful ICT infrastructure they leverage. Whether it's our partners working alongside Huawei or customers benefiting from our solutions and services, all of them have built solid, next-generation-oriented ICT infrastructures. That’s why I’d like to share how to build next-gen ICT infrastructure as the foundation for digital and intelligent transformation.

Of course, everyone is doing their best to transform from traditional technologies to new ones, especially by adopting digital and intelligent technologies. Now we are in the fourth industrial revolution. I believe everyone has already experienced a lot of tech booms over the past years. But looking forward, we can see that new technologies are emerging even faster. So, how can we cope with these new technologies in this new era and let them bring benefits to our businesses and our lives?

Let’s take a look at a McKinsey report. The report mentions the "digital and AI maturity quotient standard deviation" and shows that the gap between industry leaders and laggards is widening. From 2016 to 2019, the gap was already significant, but from 2020 to 2022, it became even larger. It means that the leaders in every industry, whether they are government agencies or business enterprises, are moving ahead at a much faster pace, leaving others far behind.

There are two reasons why the leaders are pulling ahead. First, they align with value objectives and continuously invest in digital and intelligent infrastructure to create value with technology. Besides, they keep building capabilities and continuously innovate and improve their services with digital and intelligent technologies.

Huawei’s vision is to ensure that no one is left behind. To achieve this, we must help our customers in various industries close this gap by leveraging new technologies.

This is why we emphasize accelerating transformation in two key areas.

• First, we need to accelerate the popularization of ICT infrastructure by simplifying its construction and use. This serves as the foundation that we believe all customers across different industries should have access to.

• Second, we must accelerate monetization. We need to use digital and intelligent technologies to innovate and create value. If we cannot enable everyone to benefit from technological innovation, then we cannot claim to truly bring value or generate meaningful benefits for our customers.

Accelerating the popularization: Simplifying ICT infrastructure construction and use

We suggest four principles to make it easier for people to build and use ICT infrastructure: easy to integrate, easy to access, easy to use, and easy to evolve.

For example, Huawei has simplified the integration of complex technologies, ensuring optimal system performance. By working closely with our partners, we reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) for products and solutions from end to end, making ICT more accessible across various industries.

Let’s look at three key application scenarios—campus, wide-area networks (WAN), and data centers (DC)—and how Huawei’s solutions are driving digital transformation.

Campus: Building an integrated digital foundation for simplified construction and more efficient management

Campuses serve as the hub for digital and intelligent transformation of enterprises. 90% of their innovations come from campuses.

As new technologies constantly emerge, campus management systems are becoming more complicated. Traditional campuses typically suffer from three challenges: poor experience, low efficiency, and complex O&M. To help them address these challenges, Huawei has built a digital foundation with cloud-network-edge-device integration. The goal is to make campus management and construction more efficient.

For example, together with our partners, we have helped Xiamen International Expo Center in China transform into a smart venue with full-process intelligence. Through pre-integration, 26 subsystems and 29 applications of the Expo Center are interconnected. This greatly simplifies system integration and enhances its efficiency.

Huawei's intelligent campus solution enables customers to build and manage campuses more efficiently as well as enjoy a more convenient experience.

WAN: Elastic ultra-broadband, helping customers build premium networks and maximize network value

WANs serve as the backbone connecting enterprise campuses with data centers, facilitating the efficient transmission of enterprise data, much like highways in the digital world. As businesses increasingly rely on cloud-based services, WANs must evolve to meet growing demands. Huawei’s IP and optical technologies have led to the development of an industry-leading WAN architecture that reduces network construction costs while improving utilization efficiency and user experience.

A prime example is our work with Bofinet, where we implemented IP slicing technology to achieve "one network for multiple purposes." This approach not only provides differentiated service-level agreements (SLAs) but also reduces overall TCO by 30%.

WAN serves as an important bridge for the seamless flow of enterprise data. At the same time, the aggregation and processing of this data requires DCs, which provide crucial data storage and computing resources for enterprises.

DC: Building secure, efficient, and green DCs with cloud-network-storage collaboration to ensure easier use and operations

With the rise of AI and the growing need for high-performance computing, data centers have become more crucial than ever. However, they also face increasing challenges related to energy consumption and security. To tackle these issues, Huawei has developed a comprehensive DC solution focused on the collaboration of cloud, network, and storage. This solution ensures secure, efficient, and sustainable IT infrastructure.

In the Oman Oil Company project, we unified the management of active and standby data centers from multiple vendors, reducing TCO by 25%.

Beyond usual scenarios, we are also committed to making ICT infrastructure more accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through innovative solutions like HUAWEI eKit products, we simplify installation and maintenance processes, allowing SMEs to quickly benefit from digital transformation.

For example, using the HUAWEI eKit app, network installation time has been reduced from 6 minutes to just 2 minutes, and our AI-powered tools enable fault diagnosis and resolution in under a minute.

Today, we will launch a series of flagship products and portfolios, including latest HUAWEI eKit products. These innovative products will provide enterprises with a stronger driving force for digital and intelligent transformation.

Accelerating monetization: Enabling innovation and value creation

We must accelerate monetization and leverage digital and intelligent technologies to drive service innovation and value creation. We believe that the key lies in better converging technology and business, and fostering a thriving partner ecosystem.

Huawei has consistently followed the "find the right technology for the right scenario" approach and collaborated with partners to develop solutions tailored to specific scenarios.

With our expertise in cloud-network-edge-device synergy and the open reference architecture for intelligent industry transformation, Huawei has accumulated industry knowledge and complemented partners' capabilities.

In addition, Huawei supports partners in delivering integrated solutions to customers, driving service innovation and value creation.

Throughout this process, we strive to foster a thriving industry application ecosystem and prioritize innovation that matches our customers' business strategies and production scenarios, which will be good for all sides.

For instance, in collaboration with PRASA, the South African rail company, Huawei developed an intelligent broadband infrastructure and cloud-based systems that improved resource utilization and operational efficiency. With AI-driven innovations, PRASA is now positioned as a leader in rail operations across Africa.

We collaborate with our partners to better serve our customers, and in doing so, we also help develop more ecosystem partners alongside our customers. This creates a positive cycle, where each party's success contributes to further growth. We believe that this model of success can be applied across various industries. That is why today, I am excited to introduce ten key industrial solutions for digital and intelligent transformation.

These ten industrial digital and intelligent solutions are not solely developed by Huawei, but rather the result of our close collaboration with partners and customers. Thanks for the support and contributions of our customers and partners across various industries that we have been able to create such advanced solutions. Once again, we extend our sincere gratitude to all of you.

To further drive technological innovation and ecosystem development, we sincerely invite all of you to join Huawei’s Technical Club. Whether it’s the IP Club, Optical Club, or Ocean Club, we have senior experts ready to engage with you, providing access to cutting-edge technologies and sharing best practices.

Finally, no matter how technologies develop, only by working closely with our customers and partners can we truly bring intelligence to all industries. Huawei is willing to work together with all of you to build digital and intelligent infrastructure, win in the new era, and create a better future.

Thank you!
