Netherlands-based MBO Amersfoort is a vocational education and training institution offering post-secondary courses. Keeping pace with classroom demands

The organization was increasingly struggling with outdated IT equipment that frequently failed, making it harder to maintain a stable learning environment. Due to the age of the equipment, sourcing spare parts for maintenance and repairs was increasingly challenging. To address these issues, the IT team at MBO Amersfoort needed an alternative solution to fulfil its performance and reliability requirements.

To ensure comprehensive network coverage across its campuses, AnyLinQ recommended Huawei AirEngine 8771-X1T, a next-generation Wi-Fi 7-compatible Access Point (AP). This high-performance AP features dynamic-zoom smart antennas and supports up to 12 spatial streams, providing a fiber-like network experience for bandwidth-intensive applications such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). The tri-band radio design—1 x 2.4 GHz, 1 x 5 GHz, and 1 x 6 GHz/5 GHz—supports 50% more concurrent users than traditional dual-band APs, enhancing user experience in high-demand scenarios.

Additionally, the Huawei AirEngine 5773-23HW enhances wireless connectivity in high-density educational environments. Operating on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, this AP supports four spatial streams and delivers a device rate of up to 3.57 Gbps, ensuring smooth access to digital resources. Technologies like Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and Multiple Resource Unit (MRU) optimize data transmission, reducing latency and enhancing video streaming for virtual lectures. The built-in optical module allows plug-and-play fiber connectivity, simplifying installation and reducing costs.

By integrating these advanced solutions, MBO Amersfoort provides a reliable, high-speed network that supports modern educational tools and future growth.
