The RHUB5923 converges CPRI data from remote RF modules and provides the following functions:

  • Works with the DCU and pRRU to provide indoor coverage.
  • Receives downlink data from the BBU/DCU and forwards the data to pRRUs, and forwards uplink data of pRRUs to the BBU/DCU.
  • Provides power to pRRUs through built-in Direct-Current (DC) circuits and DC cables.
  • Supports optical fiber connections with pRRUs.

CPRI_O0 to CPRI_O7: The maximum distance between an RHUB5923 and a pRRU over an optical/electrical hybrid cable is 200 meters.
