ANTON provides comprehensive value-added management services for the oil and gas sector. It offers solutions to industry customers to maximize the value of oil and gas resources, with operations spanning over 30 major oil and gas-producing countries and regions.

Huawei continues to focus on the oil and gas industry, leveraging capabilities in 5G, cloud computing, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies. It has developed a range of solutions tailored for oil and gas exploration, production, pipeline networks, and storage transportation to speed up the industry's move toward intelligence.

According to the MoU, both parties will collaborate on developing an intelligent oil and gas platform and E2E AI-based oil & gas products for business scenarios. This collaboration aims to drive the establishment of industry standards and regulations for AI models, data governance, and application deployment. They will also develop solutions for oil and gas field technologies and management services, and establish a high-level expert team in the oil and gas digitalization field. In addition, they will build and promote benchmark cases of smart oil fields to provide more replicable examples for the intelligent transformation and development of oil fields.

In September this year, ANTON and Huawei jointly announced the research results of the General Intelligent Twins Appliance for Oil and Gas. The appliance can be used for service scenarios like exploration, production, storage, and transportation, providing E2E intelligent support for oil and gas industry customers. It aims to address the challenges faced by foundation models in the oil and gas sector, such as difficulties in engineering implementation, high costs, and low standardization. In addition, the appliance platform also offers flexible functions like external data access, knowledge base management, and intelligent body arrangement, enabling users to build dedicated applications and furthering the intelligent transformation of oil and gas services.

Looking ahead, both parties will further enhance the research and practical application of intelligent oil and gas technologies. Together, they aim to provide industry customers with higher-quality innovative digital solutions, ushering in a new chapter of intelligent and refined development in oilfield production management.
