The AirEngine 9700-M is a high-specification wireless Access Controller (AC) for medium- to large-sized enterprise campuses, enterprise branches, and school campuses. The AirEngine 9700-M can manage up to 2048 Access Points (APs) and provide up to 120 Gbit/s forwarding performance. When used with Huawei's full series of 802.11ax and 802.11ac APs, the AirEngine 9700-M delivers an adaptable solution for medium to large campus networks, enterprise office networks, wireless Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), and hotspot coverage.
Supports 16 x GE ports, 12 x 10GE ports and 2 x 40GE ports, 120 Gbit/s forwarding capability, 2048 managed APs.
Flexible data forwarding provides direct forwarding and tunnel forwarding; fine-grained user rights management with user- and role-based access controls; rich authentication mechanisms minimize WLAN security threats.
Operation and maintenance methods include eSight, web system, and Command Line Interface (CLI); centrally managed with Huawei's intelligent eSight NMS.
