An intent-driven Internet Protocol (IP) communications network offers a centralized and reliable bearer solution for voice, data, and multimedia services during power transmission and transformation. Using Flexible Ethernet (FlexE) network slicing, IP hard pipes, and other security isolation technologies, this solution replaces requirements to build independent networks for different services, increasing the efficiency of customer investment and ultimately helping achieve automated and intelligent services.
FlexE slicing and independent hard pipes ensure teleprotection Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while an industry-leading 1 Gbit/s slicing granularity refines transport services. External clock and delay compensation are not required, significantly simplifying deployment.
The built-in Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) is compatible with conventional Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) services, supporting future evolution. As a future-oriented solution, the full-service platform is Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6)-ready and programmable for Network Processor (NP), supporting multiple service interfaces, such as E1, GE, 10 GE, and 100 GE.
The Graphical User Interface (GUI) visualizes and simplifies Operations and Maintenance (O&M), with the industry's first complete In-situ Flow Information Telemetry (IFIT) solution accurately displaying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as delay and jitter hop by hop.
NetEngine 8000 series routers use advanced FlexE slicing technology, meeting the high requirements of teleprotection services on network transmission.
