[Shanghai, China, September 19, 2024] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2024, Sichuan Huacun Zhigu Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huacun Zhigu) and Huawei jointly announced the launch of the joint innovation project titled "Strategic Cooperation on Data Center RoCE Network Technologies." Together, they aim to develop the premier data center network solution tailored for AI model applications. Huacun and Huawei Forge New High-Performance AI Data Center Network Ecosystem

As AI technology rapidly evolves, the AI sector is undergoing unprecedented changes and breakthroughs. To meet the demanding requirements of AI model training — particularly in terms of computing power, storage, and data transmission — it is essential to establish a data center network capable of handling massive data loads, enabling efficient parallel processing, and ensuring stable, continuous training. A standout feature of this collaboration is Huawei's unique Network Scale Load Balancing (NSLB) algorithm, which acts as an intelligent traffic manager. This algorithm accurately detects subtle shifts in network traffic and automatically adjusts the traffic paths, ensuring optimal data transmission routes. As a result, network throughput has increased to 95%, while AI training efficiency has improved by over 10%, significantly accelerating the rapid iteration and precise optimization of AI models.

To further strengthen their collaboration and capitalize on the historic opportunities presented by AI development, Huacun Zhigu and Huawei have officially launched the joint innovation project focused on "Strategic Cooperation on Data Center RoCE Network Technologies." The partnership will explore in-depth cooperation across various dimensions, including network architecture optimization, data flow acceleration, and intelligent operations and maintenance (O&M) enhancements. By leveraging complementary strengths in data storage, network switching, and AI technologies, both parties aim to drive innovation and development within high-performance AI data center networks.
