FusionDirector provides over-the-air firmware and driver updates. Based on the Huawei Online Upgrade Platform (HOUP) system, FusionDirector automatically pushes and downloads the latest server versions, identifies the correct version for an enterprise's particular solution, and implements the upgrade accordingly. In just a few clicks, an upgrade policy for a single server or batch can be created, greatly improving O&M efficiency, all the while slashing costs.

Energy consumption accounts for 60% of the total average Operating Expenditure (OPEX) of a data center. And a server consumes by far the most energy, accounting for over 44% of a data center's total consumption. Huawei's upgraded Dynamic Energy Saving Technology (DEMT) version 2.0 is designed to help reduce this figure.
Frequency modulation, hibernation, Digital Thermal Sensor (DTS), Huawei Machine Learning (ML) energy-saving algorithm, and energy loss reduction technologies (MPC-PID) are all integrated to help improve the Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of a server system by 18%. Manual asset inventory taking tends to be error-prone, costly, and difficult to track, with space often overlooked and therefore wasted. It also wastes time. With its anti-interference U space location function, FusionDirector helps automatically count server components such as Central Processing Units (CPUs), memory disks, drives, power supplies, Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) controller cards, and fan modules with 100% accuracy.
