Enterprise Network Management

Huawei’s Enterprise Network Management provides multi-vendor device management, integrated wired and wireless management, network traffic management, network quality monitoring and security policy management. Visible network quality diagnosis and full lifecycle management helps to enable proactive O&M on wired and wireless networks and rapid fault location. These functions effectively simplify wired and wireless network O&M and improve O&M efficiency.

Traffic Configuration
  • Provides GUI-based navigation to instruct user operations, after which network traffic can be monitored from multiple dimensions
  • Supports customization of applications and groups, such as IP group, interface group, DSCP group, and application group
  • Supports automatic generation of traffic alarm thresholds. Users can create alarm thresholds for application and host traffic according to the latest traffic trend. eSight automatically calculates the recommended traffic thresholds based on empirical formulas and traffic within the time period

Network Quality Emulation Test
  • Predefines more than 20 SLA services that encapsulate complex NQA indicators. Users only need to focus on specific services and not the indicators to be measured, lowering technical requirements of O&M personnel
  • Periodically executes SLA service-based tasks and displays the service quality by daily compliance. When the service quality exceeds the thresholds, eSight notifies administrators remotely to avoid negative effects on user experience
  • Provides a quick diagnosis function to measure the link quality segment by segment, narrowing down the fault scope. This function facilitates fault location, shortening the fault location time

Network Quality Awareness
  • Device/Link-level measurement: Displays the status of iPCA-capable agile devices and links between them in the topology view. When the device or link quality exceeds the threshold, eSight generates an alarm to inform administrators in time

  • Spectrum analysis: Detects signal interference of APs, checks the channel quality, and detect surrounding interference sources
360-Degree Monitoring
  • Cleans original performance data by region, and dynamically cleans data by the levels of monitored indicators to generate proportion tables. Region monitor makes user experience visible
  • Integrates region-based user experience data to provide wireless signal coverage and interference distribution information by floor, helping IT personnel identify coverage holes and obtain interference information. In this way, the top 3% to top 22% of WLAN problems can be quickly solved
  • Provides a list of abnormal indicators to display abnormal indicators from various dimensions and offers troubleshooting suggestions, allowing users to view abnormal indicator trends
One-Click Fault Diagnosis
  • Supports quick location of network faults. eSight diagnoses the network quality of online users from four aspects, including the user, SSID, AP, and AC. It also predicts problems that may occur and provides rectification suggestions, instructing users to troubleshoot the faults
  • After a user reports a fault, eSight quickly locates the user from a large number of users to start E2E one-click fault diagnosis
  • Provides diagnosis tools that can be used with the fault diagnosis function to analyze syslogs and performance data, helping network administrators troubleshoot wireless network O&M problems, such as end user login failures, frequent logout, and poor signal quality
Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS)
  • Monitors rogue devices, unauthorized clients, interference sources, and attacks that may exist on networks, and allows users to define rules for identification and management of interference sources. When an interference source is detected, eSight determines whether to generate an alarm based on user settings. eSight also can countermeasure rogue devices
AP Fault Recovery
  • Supports factory settings recovery and restart for batch APs as well as AP replacement, quickly restoring faulty APs
