Huawei Upgrades CloudCampus 3.0 Simplified Product Portfolios, Helping Enterprises Maximize Digital Productivity

[Dubai, UAE, October 12, 2022] At HUAWEI CONNECT 2022 Dubai, Huawei unveiled its 4-in-1 hyper-converged enterprise gateway NetEngine AR5710, delved into the latest CloudCampus 3.0 + Simplified Solution, and launched a series of products for large enterprises and Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). With these new offerings, Huawei aims to help enterprises further simplify their campus networks and maximize digital productivity.

At the event, Huawei shed further light on the CloudCampus 3.0 + Simplified Solution, a future-proof solution that helps enterprises simplify their campus networks from four aspects: access, architecture, branch, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M). Aside from this, Huawei launched a host of flagship products, including the first enterprise-class Wi-Fi 7 AP AirEngine 8771-X1T, enterprise-class core switch CloudEngine S16700, and 4-in-1 hyper-converged enterprise gateway.

Jisuer Yang, Vice President of Huawei's Campus Network Domain, said: "Huawei's philosophy is to take complexity itself and create simplicity for customers. Based on our own practices, Huawei has made continued innovations and optimizations, and now launches the CloudCampus 3.0 + Simplified Solution."

CloudCampus 3.0 + Simplified Solution, Further Simplifying Enterprise Networks

The CloudCampus 3.0 + Simplified Solution offers many stand-out features:

• AirEngine Wi-Fi 6/7 & IoT convergence enables unified, secure, and seamless access for IoT and Wi-Fi terminals, while the Wi-Fi 6 Advanced feature offers a "200 Mbps @ Anywhere" wireless experience.

• Innovative hybrid copper-fiber cables (hybrid cables) break the limitations of traditional Ethernet cables in terms of power supply and data transmission distances, making it possible to centrally manage PoE devices. The unique simplified architecture comprises a central switch and Remote Units (RUs), simplifying the entire network into a single logical device and ultimately slashing the number of managed nodes by 80%.

• Many of today's enterprises are moving towards multi-clouds and multi-branches, yet they struggle to centrally manage numerous branches that are increasingly dispersed. In response, Huawei debuted its NetEngine AR5710, a 4-in-1 hyper-converged IoT gateway for branch networks. By integrating four major functions — switching, routing, security, and SD-WAN — only one NetEngine AR5710 is needed for each store. Furthermore, with compelling features such as intent-driven deployment and LAN-WAN convergence, Huawei's SD-WAN Solution is ideal for centrally managing a huge number of branches, greatly improving the network O&M efficiency of multi-branch enterprises.

• iMaster NCE-Campus and iMaster NCE-CampusInsight combine to build an L3 Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) featuring "zero waiting, zero interruption, and zero intervention". The resulting benefits include full-lifecycle automation (covering network planning, construction, maintenance, and optimization), intelligent O&M, and strong support for larger and more complex networks without increasing the workforce.

Differentiated Product Portfolios, Maximizing Digital Productivity of Enterprises

Most SMEs have no full-time network O&M engineers, and so require network deployment, management, and connectivity to be as easy as possible. For this, Huawei's CloudCampus Solution offers a broad portfolio of products and solutions. Specifically, the 4-in-1 hyper-converged gateway NetEngine AR5710 combined with the wall plate AP is an ideal choice for micro enterprises, while the NetEngine AR6710 coupled with the settled AP is a great fit for SMEs. For multi-site enterprises, Huawei's offerings help build fully connected branch networks based on SD-WAN.

When it comes to large enterprises, Huawei also offers varied solutions with a broad spectrum of products for diverse industries. To elaborate, fully-wireless workplaces with high user density and concurrency are becoming the new norm, with traffic mainly coming from audio and video services. To respond to this, Huawei's fully-wireless office solution uses a complete product portfolio to create "200 Mbps @ Anywhere" wireless experience.

For the electric power industry, Huawei has launched a broad product portfolio for industrial scenarios, including industrial routers, industrial switches, and outdoor APs. All of this is ideal for building a stable and reliable automatic inspection network for stable data backhaul. And for the retail industry, Huawei provides the field-proven Wi-Fi & IoT Convergence Solution to help retail stores improve O&M efficiency.

Huawei's CloudCampus Solution has served global customers across industries in more than 100 countries and regions, laying a solid network foundation for their digital transformation journey.
