The 2280E edge model houses two Kunpeng 920 processors in a 2U space, supporting up to 128 cores. It also supports 16 DDR4-2933 DIMMs, 8 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs, and up to 6 full-height half-length PCIe 4.0 x8 I/O expansion cards, providing powerful computing performance and network acceleration capabilities.
The 2280E edge model is specially designed for edge computing scenarios such as multi-access edge computing (MEC), content delivery network (CDN), cloud gaming, cloud phone, smart campus, and video surveillance. It meets the Edge Computing IT Infrastructure (ECII) standards for edge servers.
