AirEngine 5762-16W is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wall plate Access Point (AP) that supports 2 x 2 Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) and delivers services on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, achieving a rate of up to 2.975 Gbit/s.
The AP's built-in butterfly-pattern Smart Antennas mean that signals better penetrate through walls, with a dual-beam design ensuring even distribution and optimal signal strength across multiple rooms. This means that a single AP provides sufficient Wi-Fi coverage for two or even three rooms, cutting the number of APs required, in turn slashing network construction costs and energy consumption.
As such, AirEngine 5762-16W excels in multi-partition scenarios, such as student dormitories, hospital wards, and hotel guest rooms.
A dual-beam antenna design ensures a consistent Wi-Fi experience in every room. The AP's angle polarization solution minimizes signal loss through walls, improving bandwidth capacity compared to other multi-room solutions.
Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) technologies improve data transmission efficiency, with 1024 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), four spatial streams, and an air interface rate of up to 2.975 Gbit/s.
