X23 Series Softlight ITS Bullet Camera

Unlike traditional cameras that use a front-illuminated Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) sensor, Huawei X23 Series Softlight ITS Bullet Cameras benefit from a back-illuminated CMOS, greatly increasing the amount of light reaching the image plane and improving image quality.

Available in two models — the 3 megapixel, 2048 x 1536 resolution X2331-EPL, and the 9 megapixel, 4096 x 2160 X2391-EPL — both featuring an 11-40 mm motorized zoom lens, both cameras are also equipped with Precise-Iris (P-Iris), built-in Global Positioning System (GPS), BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), and time calibration modules.

The cameras are designed to be deployed at vehicle checkpoints with an optimal throw range of 30 meters for license plate recognition. Embedded polarizers allow the cameras to deliver clear images during day and night.

With built-in Neural Processing Units (NPUs) greatly improving the performance of deep-learning algorithms, the cameras can intelligently recognize license plates, vehicle types, models, and colors. The NPUs also support recognition of traffic violations, including driving the wrong way, running red lights, not following lane markings, speeding, and driving too slowly.
