At HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, Huawei brought network energy saving and consumption reduction to a new level in the data center field by releasing its AI-based iCooling solution to help large data centers shift to “smart cooling.”
Huawei launched its innovative S6720-HI series fixed switches, which are full-featured 10GE and come with 100G uplink and routing capabilities. It has upgraded the software capabilities of all series of switches to make them Intent-Driven Network (IDN)-Ready.
At HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, Huawei launched its SD-WAN Solution, which provides enterprise customers with interconnection services suitable for convergence in the all-cloud era and helps them intelligently connect to the cloud.
Huawei and Intel jointly released the KunLun logical partitioning (L-Par) Service Consolidation Solution at HUAWEI CONNECT 2018. By building computing platforms using Huawei KunLun Mission Critical Servers, the solution leverages Huawei’s innovative L-Par technology to flexibly consolidate scattered small or medium-sized databases into one or a few KunLun servers.
At HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, Huawei released the Atlas intelligent computing platform powered by Huawei Ascend series of AI chips and mainstream heterogeneous computing components. As an important part of Huawei's full-stack AI solution, the Atlas intelligent computing platform unlocks supreme compute power to help customers embrace an AI-driven future and expedite the intelligent transformation journey.
On October 11, the second day of HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, the first Huawei Global Distributor Forum took place in Shanghai. Organized by Huawei Enterprise, the forum was attended by approximately 150 guests from more than 70 distributor companies in 45 countries. They came to discuss how they and Huawei could better support each other and succeed together.
