[Jiaxing, China, November 20, 2024] The 2nd Network Innovation and Development Conference, themed "Leap with Next-Generation Network", was held in Wuzhen, a famous international Internet town in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, China. During the conference, Huawei, together with the Broadband Development Alliance (BDA) and other partners, released the High-Quality 10 Gbps Campus Network Technology Development Research Report ("Report" for short). The Report delves into the adoption of Huawei's High-Quality 10 Gbps CloudCampus Solution in enterprise campuses, ultimately accelerating digital and intelligent transformation as well as industry upgrade.
The conference attracted a panel of opinion leaders, including Guo Xiaoyan, Chairman of the Network Innovation and Development Alliance (NIDA) Campus Work Team; Li Hongpeng, member of the NIDA Strategy Advisory Committee; Dang Meimei, Chief Engineer from the Institute of Technology and Standards Research (ITSR), China Academy of Information Communications Technology (CAICT); Lu Xi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Intelligent Branch of China Engineering & Consulting Association (CECA); and Huang Min, Director of the Industrial Demand Department of the World WLAN Application Alliance (WAA).
Together with them, Shawn Zhao, President of the Campus Network Domain, Data Communication Product Line, Huawei, unveiled the High-Quality 10 Gbps Campus Network Technology Development Research Report. The Report highlights that the campus covers the majority of work and production scenarios, where more than 80% of GDP and more than 90% of innovations are generated. It also explores the service development trends of campus networks, analyzes campus network demands and Wi-Fi & wired access technologies, and outlines high-quality 10 Gbps campus network construction approaches, key technologies, and suggested multi-layered metrics.

Against this backdrop, all industries are upgrading with 'connectivity + intelligence' technologies to accelerate digital-intelligent transformation of service scenarios," said Shawn Zhao in his speech at the NIDA Campus Work Group conference. "In response, our high-quality 10 Gbps campus network delivers higher speeds, lower latency, wider coverage, and higher energy efficiency, providing users with ultimate experience and a secure and reliable network environment. This enables users to access information anywhere, anytime, communicate smoothly through video, and work more efficiently."
In addition, guests and experts from design institutes, universities/colleges, and healthcare organizations discussed campus network development trends and the latest progress and 2025 work plan of the NIDA Campus Work Team.
