The service catalog provides a single function catalog externally, and performs service scheduling and dispatching internally. This allows O&M personnel to schedule and manage heterogeneous computing, storage, and networking resources in an end-to-end, one-click, self-service mode. The northbound interface is a community-based OpenStack interface that decouples resource management from basic infrastructure. The resource scheduling layer is implemented by FusionSphere OpenStack — an enterprise version of the OpenStack community, enhanced and stabilized by Huawei. The most basic installation, deployment, and O&M abilities for FusionSphere OpenStack are provided. This mainly includes installation, deployment, log management, time management, backup, recovery, upgrading, and patches. Based on native OpenStack, computing expansion, storage, and network plug-ins, OpenStack supports open-source community modules like Keystone, Nova, Cinder, Neutron, Ironic, Glance, Ceilometer, and Heat.
