CloudEngine S5731-H Series Hybrid Optical-Electrical Switches
Next generation switches with advanced IDN features.
CloudEngine S5731-H Series Hybrid Optical-Electrical Switches
The CloudEngine S5731-H is a series of next generation intelligent switches that provide GE/10 GE electrical downlink ports and four 10 GE uplink ports, with one extended slot.
CloudEngine S5731-H builds on Huawei's unified Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) and boasts various Intent-Driven Network (IDN) features. For example, integrated wireless Access Controller (AC) capabilities manage up to 1024 wireless Access Points (APs) while the free mobility feature ensures a consistent user experience. The series also supports innovative optical-electrical synergy technologies and integrates optical ports and electrical ports, with the ability to act as a central switch to provide 60 W Power over Ethernet Plus Plus (PoE++) for Remote Units (RUs) over 300 m. As such, CloudEngine S5731-H can function as core switches for small-sized campus networks and branches of medium- and large-sized campus networks, as well as working as access switches for Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs).
Long-Distance Access
Exclusive optical-electrical Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, 300 m ultra-long-distance PoE++ power supply, three times the industry standard.
Built-In Native AC
Managing up to 1024 wireless APs and converging wireless and wired policy management.
512 MB Ultra-Large Cache
Six times the industry specifications, meeting the requirements for carrying high burst services with zero packet loss.
