Full-service distributed OLT - building green, ultra-broadband, and intelligent aggregation access networks.The EA5800 series multi-service access devices feature distributed architecture and provide users with a unified transmission platform for broadband, wireless, video, and surveillance services. The EA5800 provides GPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON, GE, and 10 GE access, and supports multiple network construction modes, including POL, FTTH, FTTB, and FTTC. One optical network covers all services, simplifying the network architecture and reducing OPEX. The EA5800 is available in small, medium, and large specifications, making it suitable for every scenario.
Service processing is distributed from the control board to service boards, leading to higher switching capacity and system performance. A single slot can reach a throughput of 100 Gbit/s, satisfying the high demands of gigabit broadband and handling even the most bandwidth-hungry services like 4K videos.
Type B/Type C dual-homing implements backup protection for remote disaster recovery through redundancy backup by configuring two control boards and two power boards. Multiple uplinks are also configured to provide a secure and reliable operating environment.
Uninterrupted Service Upgrades
A distributed architecture separates the control and forwarding planes, allowing software upgrades without any service interruption. User complaints are reduced and service downtime is eliminated.
