Huawei CloudEngine 7800 series switches are next-generation 40 GE Ethernet switches designed for data center and high-end campus networks, providing high-performance, high interface density, and low latency. CloudEngine 7800 switches provide high-density 40 GE QSFP+ ports and support an extensive range of data center features and high-performance stacking technologies, helping enterprises and carriers build cloud-oriented data center networks.

CloudEngine 7800 switches can function as core or aggregation switches in both data center networks and campus networks.

CloudEngine 7800 switches are compatible with the 16800, 12800, 6800, or 5800 CloudEngine switch series, to build a scalable, simplified, open, and secure cloud data center network.
