OceanStor Pacific 9926
Huawei OceanStor Pacific 9926 all-flash scale-out storage is a brand-new product tailored for mass data scenarios. Equipped with 15.36 TB, 30.72 TB, or 61.44 TB high-capacity solid state disks (SSDs), storage available capacity guarantee services, and an efficient built-in data reduction algorithm, this product helps customers to go all-flash at hard disk drive (HDD) costs. Dense hardware houses 36 disk slots in just 2 U, delivering a high capacity density of up to 4 PB/2 U, eight times higher than HDD-based storage. The built-in dedicated erasure coding (EC) algorithm for high-capacity SSDs and an innovative data reconstruction design enable 1 TB of data to be reconstructed in just 10 minutes, three times more efficient than HDD-based storage. With the same size, an OceanStor Pacific 9926 cluster delivers twice the performance and 54% lower total cost of ownership (TCO) than equivalent HDD-based alternatives, promoting the adoption of future-proof storage power.
