Huawei Upgraded Xinghe AI Financial Network to Drive Agentic Banking Transformation

Shanghai, China

[Shanghai, China, May 20, 2026] The Huawei Intelligent Finance Summit (HiFS) 2026 (Global Session), themed "Hello Fintelligent World: Beyond Digital, Advance to Agentic Banking," opened today at Huawei's Lianqiu Lake Campus in Shanghai. The event brought together over 800 representatives from financial institutions across more than 60 countries and regions, along with over 70 industry partners. During the event, Huawei comprehensively upgraded its Xinghe AI Financial Network. This pivotal upgrade is designed to support the highly efficient generation, secure transmission, and ultra-fast consumption of AI tokens, thereby empowering global financial institutions to accelerate their digital intelligent transformation.

During the keynote speech titled " Xinghe AI Financial Network: Advancing Agentic Banking with Always-on AI Connectivity," Kevin Yang, Vice President of Huawei Data Communication Product Line, highlighted that as the industry enters the token-centric AI Data Center (DC) era, core financial services—including payment and settlement, credit financing, wealth management, and risk control—are undergoing an unprecedented transformation. Consequently, the sector is confronting three major challenges: surging token consumption, escalating security risks, and rising O&M complexity. The Xinghe AI Financial Network addresses these challenges by integrating storage-compute-network fabrics within data centers, deploying quantum security for WANs, and ensuring end-to-end application experience across campus networks. This approach streamlines the full token lifecycle—from efficient generation and secure transmission to ultra-fast consumption. Additionally, through a three-layer in-depth defense of "network-agent-host," the network achieves multi-dimensional security protection featuring "AI versus AI" and "AI guards AI.". At the O&M level, the newly upgraded StarryWing Digital Map and NetMaster network agent have enabled day-level deployment of intent-driven changes and AI-driven self-handling of 95% of faults. These advancements have established a robust network foundation for always-on financial services.

At the roundtable focused on "AI Reshape the Network Resilience Architecture & AIOps," Huawei experts systematically introduced the automated network resilience assessment solution. To address the time-consuming and labor-intensive nature of traditional manual assessment, this solution is built on ITU-T standards and structured around six core dimensions and 95 metrics. By leveraging automated tools to quantify network strengths and weaknesses, identify risks, and provide actionable evolution recommendations, it empowers the financial industry to build a more secure and reliable digital network architecture. Yu Lu, NCE Product Director for Data Center Networks at Huawei Data Communication Product Line, presented the AI-powered Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) L4 solution. To address the continuous growth in network scale and complexity—which has outpaced traditional manual O&M capabilities—this solution leverages the iMaster NCE Network Digital Map and the multimodal inference algorithms of the NetMaster network agent to achieve error-free design and deployment driven by service intent. Furthermore, by utilizing dynamic Chain-of-Thought (CoT) technology to orchestrate across multiple systems, the solution enables AI to autonomously resolve 95% of network faults.
