Huawei Unlocks All Intelligence with the SMART Logistics & Warehousing Solution

[Shanghai, China, September 19, 2025] HUAWEI CONNECT 2025's transportation summit, titled "Creating a Digital & Intelligent Foundation for Comprehensive Transportation and Logistics," brought together global leaders as well as core customers and partners from the transportation and logistics sectors. The event served as a forum to explore the latest trends in intelligent transformation and exchange innovative practices. During the event, Huawei unveiled its SMART Logistics & Warehousing Solution, which integrates leading digital and intelligent technologies to improve quality, reduce costs, and boost efficiency throughout the entire process of logistics and supply chain.

Rapid digitalization, intelligentization, and decarbonization are transforming global transportation, supply chains, and logistics. Emerging technologies are enhancing the efficiency and security of critical infrastructure like ports, airports, railways, and roads. Furthermore, multimodal transport and cross-industry integration have also generated tremendous developmental momentum.

Delivering the opening speech was Mr. Ma Yue, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Huawei's Smart Transportation BU, who stated that as a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devices, Huawei remains committed to technological innovation. By fitting the right technologies to increasingly diversified scenarios, the company helps optimize the flow of passengers, freight, businesses, revenue, and information, laying a robust foundation for industry transformation. He then emphasized that Huawei's principle of open collaboration is critical to tackling the challenges inherent in upgrading complex systems. He continued by discussing Huawei's joint efforts with global partners in serving more than 100 ports, over 200 logistics enterprises, and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) across more than 70 cities. Concluding the speech, Mr. Ma Yue pledged that Huawei would deepen joint innovation in communications networks, computing power, AI, and talent cultivation to advance sustainable development of transportation.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Kumpol Boonchom, Deputy Chief of State Railway of Thailand (SRT), said that they aim to create an integrated network to help Thailand become the central hub of Southeast Asia. The construction of the Thailand-China Railway is an opportunity for SRT to develop a strategic rail logistics hub in the region.

Mr. Guo Shuangqing, Assistant CMO of SF Technology, highlighted in his speech that the company has developed an air logistics digital twin platform rooted in China's first cargo airport. This platform allows for TB-level data processing with millisecond-fast response time. It fosters smooth collaboration among millions of elements and has successfully managed a cargo throughput of 1.9 million metric tons without any switching errors. "SF Technology and Huawei will maximize respective strengths to expand capabilities in coordinating multiple airports, thus leading to a substantial efficiency increase across the entire air logistics sector," said Mr. Guo.

As national policies and international trade dynamics evolve, an increasing number of traditional logistics enterprises are shifting toward integrated supply chain models. Mr. Jiang Xingxiang, Assistant to General Manager of Yunnan Construction and Investment Holding Group, shared insights on integrated supply chain operations. He noted that through a decade of unwavering digital transformation and proactive business model adjustments, YCIH Logistics has successfully transformed from an infrastructure materials supplier into an integrated supply chain enterprise. Its business scope now encompasses technological innovation, procurement, customs declaration and clearance, warehousing, manufacturing and processing, transportation, and supply chain financing. Mr. Qiu Shikui, Vice President of Huawei's Smart Logistics and Warehousing BU, mentioned in his keynote speech that the logistics industry is currently grappling with key challenges such as high OPEX, low efficiency, complex data coordination, and underutilized AI. To address these common needs, Huawei, alongside its customers and partners, has launched the innovative SMART Logistics & Warehousing Solution. Built on the "1+N" architecture, it combines a smart operations cloud with intelligent coordination across logistics parks and yards to provide end-to-end digital and intelligent services for a wide range of industry customers. These include transportation & logistics enterprises, logistics enterprises, and corporate logistics and supply chain customers. The solution focuses on five core capabilities: platform-based services, digitalized operations management, intelligent allocation, automated relocation, and unattended transportation. To date, Huawei has served a massive infrastructure network worldwide, including more than 100 ports and over 200 logistics and warehousing enterprises; over 300 urban rail lines in more than 70 cities and over 180,000 km of railways; a road network exceeding 200,000 km; over 300 cities for urban transportation; and more than 210 airlines and air traffic management bureaus. Huawei will continue to work closely with customers and ecosystem partners to advance the logistics and supply chain sector toward new heights.
