[Dubai, UAE, October 14, 2024] During GITEX GLOBAL 2024, Huawei successfully held the IP Club Open Day, providing customized experience for IP Club members and creating another technology carnival for the IP industry. This event featured a variety of activities, including announcing the IP Club member upgrade plan, launching the "Discover Huawei SASE" Program (a hand-on experience program for IP Club members), and signing a cooperation agreement between IEEE UAE and Huawei. Other notable activities include releasing the book "When Watt Meets Bit" Data Communication Network Solution Comic Series for Electric Power Industry, inviting excellent IP Club members to share their stories, and presenting awards to outstanding members.
"IP Club is initiated by Huawei, aiming to build an open technical community for the global IP industry and provide a platform for IP industry professionals to connect, collaborate, and communicate," said Simon Xu, Director of Global Enterprise Network Marketing Execution Department, Huawei. "Since the first-time launch of the Huawei IP Club member program in 2022, IP Club has developed more than 6000 members from 120 countries, including 25 countries in the Middle East and Central Asia region. In particular, IP Club has attracted more than 1300 members from the Middle East and Central Asia region and held over 200 member activities in the region."

At the IP Club Open Day, the IEEE UAE Section and Huawei signed a memorandum of understanding, according to which the two parties will further deepen cooperation, jointly promote the implementation of industry standards, cultivate an innovative talent ecosystem, and prepare for the future intelligent society.
