Huawei is committed to accelerating the digital transformation of the education industry in Africa through next-generation ICT technologies such as cloud computing, IoT, and AI. We hope to work closely with educational organizations in the region to create a dynamic and intelligent Africa.

Rock Qin, Vice President of Huawei Northern Africa, said: "In recent years, Huawei has co-built educational clouds and backbone networks with clients in Egypt and Ethiopia, and collaborated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia to create Huawei's first education and research cloud in North Africa." In the future, Huawei will deepen its cooperation with governments and educational institutions in Pan-Arab and African countries to accelerate infrastructure development in the education sector.

Frank Huang, Director of Huawei Education Solutions, explained that Huawei has built a next-generation backbone network for education and research. This intelligent, simplified, secure, and ultra-high-speed network is based on optical transmission, intelligent metropolitan routing, and cloud technologies. It provides flexible and intelligent network connections, cloud services, as well as application management and collaboration services for research. This network enables information exchange and fully stimulates scientific research and innovation, offering researchers, teachers, and students the opportunity to make the best use of digital technologies (learning and research activities, efficient resource utilization, and accelerating the digital transformation of the education sector).

During the summit, Leon Liang, General manager of Huawei Tunisia, Marshall Chen, President of Huawei Northern Africa’s Public Sector, Naoufel Hamrouni, Cloud Manager of CCK Tunisia, and Jamel Aloui, Marketing Manager of CCK Tunisia, launched the Global Intelligent Education Showcase for Tunisia. It offers strong support for intelligent education applications such as smart collaboration, smart classrooms, campus security, and enables all-optical network connections between different universities, aiming to improve the overall network application experience. The launch of this showcase will provide advanced concepts and practical examples for the digital transformation of the education industry in Tunisia and North Africa.

With the rapid development of technology, thousands of industries around the world are at a critical stage of digital transformation. In the future, Huawei will continue to deepen its cooperation with African educational organizations to accelerate talent development, seize growth opportunities, and help Africa accelerate its journey into the intelligent era.
