NetEngine 5000E core router is designed to be used as an enterprise backbone network node, metro network core node, Data Center Interconnect (DCI) node, or international gateway. 256T Cluster Capacity
1.6T line card with high performance and integration and low power consumption, switching capacity up to 819.2Tbps. A 2 + 2 cluster can be smoothly expanded to a 2 + 8 cluster without interrupting services, and routers of different platforms can form a hybrid cluster.
Based on Software-Defined Networking (SDN) architecture, NetEngine5000E routers provide new backbone network optimization technologies capable of satisfying enterprise network demands. Network virtualization enables efficient network operations and development.
Advanced protection mechanisms such as IGP fast convergence, IP/LDP/TE/VLL fast reroute, BFD fast link detection, and inter-board trunking ensure that reliable service operation is maintained at the system structure, hardware, and software levels.
