Huawei Named a 2023 Gartner Peer Insights™ Customers' Choice for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure Four Years in a Row for Its High-Quality 10 Gbps CloudCampus

2023.06.19

[Shenzhen, China, June 19, 2023] Huawei announced that it has been named a Gartner Peer Insights™ Customers' Choice for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure for the fourth year in a row. As the only non-North American vendor named, Huawei is highly recognized by receiving a record-high rating of 4.9/5.0 stars based on 197 customer reviews (as of March 31, 2023) on the Gartner Peer Insights platform. In particular, Huawei receives Customers' Choice distinctions in three of the four customer segments: Midsize Enterprise (50M – 1B USD), Asia/Pacific, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Huawei believes all of these are testament to the high recognition and continuous trust of global customers in Huawei's high-quality 10 Gbps CloudCampus offerings.

Huawei named a 2023 Gartner Peer Insights™ Customers' Choice for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure

As of March 31, 2023, customers across a wide variety of sectors — such as, Manufacturing, Services, Education and Communications — have reviewed Huawei's High-Quality 10 Gbps CloudCampus Solution and full series of products (e.g., CloudEngine S series campus switches, AirEngine Wi-Fi APs, and iMaster NCE automated and intelligent network management platform) on the Gartner Peer Insights platform. They appraised the Product Capabilities, Deployment Experience, Sales Experience and Support Experience of Huawei's campus network offerings. We believe their impressive feedback showed global recognition of Huawei from the industry influence, deployment scales, and mature commercial use perspectives.

With regard to wireless access, Huawei dives into customer concerns in typical scenarios and constantly innovates antenna technologies to ensure WLAN continuous networking, record-high speeds, 30% greater coverage range, and optimal user experience. Doing so paves the way for replacing wired with wireless in all scenarios across diverse industries. A healthcare customer commented, "For its scenario-specific customized antennas, it offers 3 options for us. If it is <5 m for the indoor scenario, Huawei offers built-in dual-band co-planar smart antennas to improve the coverage radius by 20%. If it is 5-30 m for the indoor scenario, Huawei offers the integrated mounting kit to facilitate antenna assembling before the AP installation and antenna installation at heights. If it is the outdoor scenario, Huawei has exclusive 8T8R antennas with 2.4 GHz to improve the receiver sensitivity by 2 dB to 3 dB."[1]

When it comes to network architecture, Huawei launched a simplified network architecture that consists of the central switch and remote units (RUs). This simplifies traditional three-layer network into a two-layer one, thereby slashing managed nodes while enabling more flexible network expansion. A government customer said, "Huawei's simplified network architecture brings great convenience to wired office terminals. The switch is directly connected to the desktop, which solves the problem of insufficient resources in the weak-current equipment room."[2]

Network deployment and O&M are also a key focus. Huawei's AI-powered iMaster NCE — an automated and intelligent network management platform — is the first to build L3 autonomous driving campus networks, winning high acclaim from global customers. A manufacturing customer stated, "NCE-CampusInsight can display the entire network status, view the network latency in real time, and automatically detect and resolve some problems, greatly reducing the workload of O&M personnel. In addition, NCE-CampusInsight can view the quality of applications on the network and ensure key applications. This is a nice feature."[3]

"We're thrilled to be named a Gartner Peer Insights™ Customers' Choice for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure again. Thanks global customers for their continued recognition and trust in Huawei's campus network offerings," said Leon Wang, President of the Campus Network Domain, Huawei's Data Communication Product Line. "We value the voice of each customer, which inspires us to constantly make more innovations and breakthroughs. To accelerate enterprise digital transformation, Huawei recently proposed a new philosophy of high-quality 10 Gbps campus network construction. The resulting benefits include ultra-high-speed wired/wireless access anytime, anywhere, flexible and easy-to-manage network architecture, quick deployment of branch services onto the cloud, and smooth video conferencing for 10,000 users, as well as automated and intelligent O&M."

Huawei's campus network products and solutions serve global customers across sectors such as public service, education, healthcare, manufacturing, finance, and energy in more than 170 countries and regions. In particular, with continuous innovation and industry-leading campus network offerings, Huawei was named a Leader in the 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure.

Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to innovate in line with the philosophy of high-quality 10 Gbps campus networks with ultra-high-speed access, simplified architecture, simplified branch, and ultimate experience. Doing so helps customers build smart campus networks needed for digital upgrade of enterprise services, ultimately speeding up digital transformation across diverse industries.
