Huawei's Zero-Roaming Wi-Fi 7 Warehouse Solution is purpose-built for demanding warehousing environments. It delivers high-quality Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity with wide coverage, zero roaming, and integrated internet of things (IoT) support—ideal for automated guided vehicle (AGV) zones and high-density vertical storage areas. This is achieved through innovative architecture that combines zero-roaming access points (APs)—here, AirEngine 6776-26HD—with antenna units (AUs), powered by advanced single frequency networking (ASFN) technology. Each AP supports eight AUs and multiple APs can be virtualized into one, significantly enhancing the efficiency of AGVs and shuttle vehicles.
In other warehouse scenarios requiring zero roaming, the solution utilizes mid- to high-end APs—AirEngine 8776/6776/5776—alongside ASFN technology. This ensures seamless, high-performance wireless coverage with zero roaming and IoT convergence. AP virtualization keeps mobile devices such as personal digital assistants (PDAs) and barcode scanners reliably connected during movement, enabling uninterrupted operations.
