The Tolly Group is the world's leading provider of third-party and fact-based validation and verification services to IT vendors. Tolly tested the SASE solutions of the same level offered by mainstream vendors, including Huawei Xinghe Intelligent Unified SASE Solution. The test focused on the multi-branch secure interconnection, local branch protection, and security O&M scenarios, which are major concerns of customers. A total of 18 typical cases were used to comprehensively evaluate these SASE solutions. Under the same test conditions, Huawei Xinghe Intelligent Unified SASE Solution was significantly ahead of other vendors in all indicators, such as threat detection, intelligent collaboration, and endpoint security. The test results are as follows:

In terms of threat detection capabilities, Huawei firewalls detected 95% of the threat samples, which were selected by Tolly from a public third-party known threat database. In contrast, similar products of other vendors detected 80% of them. As for the unknown packed variants generated using commonly available tools, Huawei is the only vendor that detected 100% of them.

In terms of threat handling capabilities, the iMaser NCE-Campus manages both network and security capabilities in a unified manner, and intelligently collaborates with switches, firewalls, and HiSec Endpoints (EDRs) to implement one-click handling of threat events. Once a threat event is detected at any node, the entire network will be immune to it. In contrast, other vendors need to switch between multiple management platforms, leading to inefficient and complex deployment and O&M.

In terms of endpoint security capabilities, capabilities such as endpoint antivirus, intranet access authentication, and zero-trust network access of traditional security vendors are provided by different endpoint security products, resulting in complex deployment and high O&M costs. Huawei integrates all the capabilities into one client to implement unified management of endpoints, user identities, and user permissions, making operations a lot easier.

Kevin Tolly, founder of The Tolly Group, said that "This is the most comprehensive and rigorous SASE test Tolly has performed so far. Huawei Xinghe Intelligent Unified SASE Solution demonstrated industry-leading security capabilities in the test. I believe this report will help enterprises gain an in-depth understanding of the key technologies and capabilities of mainstream SASE solutions in the industry, helping them build a multi-branch protection system to secure their services."

Due to its differentiated advantages brought by technological innovation, Huawei Xinghe Intelligent Network Security has helped many customers in sectors like government, education, and finance build a robust network security system to safeguard their business value in an intelligent era.
