Close cooperation between HUAWEI and distribution partners: Tapping the Germany SME Market with HUAWEI eKit

[Munich, October 25, 2023] HUAWEI officially unveiled its "HUAWEI eKit" sub-brand for the distribution business in Germany. HUAWEI eKit is designed to better meet the digital needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), help distribution partners develop their businesses, and expand opportunities in the SME market.

"The HUAWEI eKit offers marketable sales products and IT tools that add value specifically for SMEs – from campus networks to data storage," said Tommy Zhou, CEO HUAWEI Germany. "With this step, HUAWEI is underlining its commitment to the German market, where small and especially medium-sized enterprises traditionally form the backbone of the economy. We can and will offer real added value here with products that once again significantly advance digitalization."

HUAWEI eKit is dedicated to developing sales products that are easy to buy & sell, easy to install & maintain, and easy to learn & use for various business scenarios in the SME market.

For HUAWEI eKit was a wide range of products developed, including intelligent collaboration, wired and wireless networks, IP + optical access networks, storage, and IT platforms. At the event, HUAWEI eKit presented several products, among them the IdeaHub S2 & B2, the eKitEngine S110 and S310 series switch, S380 series gateway; eKitEngine Access Points for WiFi-6,and the HUAWEI eKit App. By the end of the year, HUAWEI eKit will have more than 50 distribution products, which can be rearranged into solutions for over 30 typical scenarios. This includes solutions for SOHO (small home and home office), hotels, catering, commercial real estate, and retail.

HUAWEI outlined its approach to the distribution business: focus on distribution partners, stay subcontractor-centred, and help distribution partners to keep developing the SME market through continuous innovation and competitive products and services.

In Germany, the distribution partners Acondistec GmbH, KOMSA AG and ALSO Deutschland GmbH will sell the products and solutions under the HUAWEI eKit brand. All three distributors were honored with the Gold Distribution Partner Award at the launch event in Munich.
