Making traditional meters smart

Q-loud, a partner of Huawei, is focussing on Smart City and Smart Energy. The company connects traditional meters to the cloud by making them smart. Pictures of the values on the meters are made on-site by placing a smart device on top of the analog device. Then the values of the pictures are read, digitized and sent in a secured protocol to the cloud.
