Huawei held its Asia Pacific Partners Conference 2023 in Shenzhen from May 17 to May 18, 2023, bringing together over 1,200 of its partners from more than 20 APAC countries and regions to explore ways to seek new growth and stay ahead of the game.
Asia-Pacific has long been an engine of global economic growth. As one of the most active regions in the global digital economy, Asia-Pacific has been a leader in digitalization and innovation initiatives. Huawei has more than 7,900 enterprise partners and more than 2,000 cloud partners in the Asia-Pacific region, and it seeks to cultivate an even stronger partner ecosystem here. Huawei has committed to increasing its investment in partnerships and incentives for partners. It hopes this will create greater value for customers, further promote the region's digital economy development, and unleash digital productivity.
On May 17, 2023, the Huawei Financial Partner Go Global Program (FPGGP), alongside Huawei's eminent APAC partners, set up the APAC Digital Finance Alliance and pledged to continue cooperation and innovation in numerous domains with a shared goal to join hands to develop capabilities and seize opportunities from industrial digital transformation in the Asia-Pacific market.

Song Danping, President of Global Ecosystem Cooperation, Huawei Global Digital Finance, said that " Huawei welcomes fintech enterprises and various partners to join the alliance and collaboratively create an open, inclusive, and developing financial ecosystem."
At the forum themed "Collaborating for a New Era of Innovation and Growth" held in parallel with the conference, Xiao Haijun, President of Global Partner Development and Sales Dept, Huawei Enterprise Business Group, Philip Hong, CTO of Sunline, Dominic Shih, CTO of Automated System (H.K.), Suwatchai Sirimuangmul, Assistant COO of Precise System & Project Co., Ltd. in Thailand, and Andreas Suryadi Gunadi, CEO of Soltius Indonesia, discussed how they could enhance collaboration and complement each other. They went on to share problems they had encountered in businesses and sought practical solutions, outlining their response to fast-changing market demands and discussing the support needed both in the technical and policy domains.
At the finance roundtable, 40 partners and customers exchanged their views over a wide range of topics, including insights into the trends of the APAC financial industry, mainstream scenarios and solutions of financial cloud migration/IT architecture transformation, and FPGGP. Sunline, Sinosoft, Chinasoft International, Netis, Wallyt, Tongdun Technology, Hi Sun Global, and other FPGGP partners actively engaged in the discussion and promoted their solutions.
Looking ahead, one of Huawei's goals is to get FPGGP into cooperation with local partners by building even closer partnerships with local institutions in the APAC region. Local partners are usually already highly familiar with the local market and have established a reliable cooperative mechanism with customers. With an open mind and consistent cooperation strategy, Huawei will work side by side with all APAC partners, pursuing shared growth and success, and creating a prosperous ecosystem that drives digital transformation.
