Huawei OptiXaccess MA5800

The MA5800 multi-service access device is a 4K/8K/VR-ready OLT in the gigabit ultra-broadband era. It supports the PON/10G PON/GE/10GE shared platform. The MA5800 adopts the distributed architecture and supports multi-media gigabit aggregation, optimal 4K/8K/VR video experience, multi-service virtualization sharing platform, and smooth evolution to 50G PON. The MA5800 series is mainly available as the MA5800-X7.

Converged Forwarding

Distributed architecture with separated control and forwarding

The MA5800 is the industry's first OLT with distributed architecture. The high-speed forwarding capability of the distributed architecture supports smooth evolution to 50G PON. The control and forwarding separation architecture provides flexible service O&M. Network upgrades do not affect services and ensure service reliability.

Most Diverse CPE Types

Any Port Any Service Flex-PON Solution

The Flex-PON Solution reduces the initial investment required and offers smooth upgrade and evolution from GPON to XG(S)-PON. A Flex-PON board supports GPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON, and XG(S)-PON combo with the corresponding optical module, and reduces OPEX by smooth evolution without board replacement.

Full Media Access

Multi-media Gigabit Aggregation

The PON/P2P solution implements unified access and aggregation of optical fibers, copper lines, and cable media. It transforms an independent multi-media access network into an access network with a unified architecture, implementing unified access, aggregation, and management, simplifying network architecture and O&M.

Eco-friendly and Energy-saving

Green and Energy-saving

Huawei OptiXaccess MA5800 OLT platform automatically detects the usage or traffic load of each functional module, when the module is idle or under low load, it automatically switches the module to the disabled state or low power consumption mode to reduce the power consumption.
