The M2220-I network camera integrates video compression, network transmission, and intelligent algorithms, transmitting on-site video images through the network in real time and is used for applications such as safe cities and rail transportation. By operating in very low light conditions with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), highlight suppression, wide operating voltage range, and ultra-wide operating temperature range, it ensures image quality in various climates and different environments and provides HD image quality anytime, anywhere.
Huawei cameras provide the best images in low light conditions: 1. Large-size CMOS sensor provides higher sensitivity, 2. The 1/1.8-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor improves the amount of captured light by nearly 50 percent over the traditional 1/1.8-inch CMOS, 3. Optimal image uses dedicated algorithms in the same amount of captured light.
Huawei uses three-frame exposure technologies that capture images in different areas and exposure times, and combine the three images into one for output. These technologies are especially beneficial in harsh environments where intense contrasts are an issue. They enable the capture and display of both bright and dark areas, so that bright areas are not saturated, and details are clear and visible in dark areas.
Huawei-developed Extra265 algorithms use intelligent I-frame technology to reduce code streams. It not only identifies and tracks moving objects in images, but also reduces smearing and blurring of low-bit-rate moving objects to limit the number of macroblocks in the encoding format.
