In the Gigaband era — characterized by Ultra-High Definition (UHD) video streaming, Internet of Things (IoT)-equipped homes, more and more mobile Internet users, and diverse cloud services — existing network solutions struggle to deliver the quality and consistency end-users require. As such, increased customer complaints and overall dissatisfaction are the inevitable end result.
However, Huawei’s All-Optical Access for ISP provides highly reliable Gigaband networks — with a high Quality of Service (QoS), integrated services, and fit-for-purpose Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tools — building secure, stable, greener network architecture for last mile access.
The suite focuses on ultra-broadband and multi-Internet Service Provider (ISP) access, building a unified platform for service convergence and forwarding.
The widely-covered Optical Network Unit (ONU) series is capable of meeting the demands of narrowband or broadband, families or enterprises, and indoor or outdoor settings. The smart Optical Network Terminal (ONT) series, focusing on home interconnections, entertainment, and intelligent control, helps construct future-oriented home centers that are greener and more cost-effective, with less active devices. The All-Optical Access for ISP also reduces the equipment room footprint, helping reduce O&M costs.
7 Tbit/s backplane bandwidth supports line-rate forwarding performance for multiple services.
A two-layer flat network with passive devices simplifies cabling and reduces equipment footprint, while also reducing energy consumption.
Support for narrowband, broadband, digital, and virtual modes.
