What Is PEN Solution?
For room-intensive scenarios, such as education and healthcare, Huawei launches an all-new high-quality simplified network solution, which adopts both active and passive technologies. Among them, the Passive Ethernet Network (PEN) technology integrates the advantages of Ethernet protocols and passive optical architecture. This helps to build an ultra-broadband, intent-driven, secure, and green campus network. PEN combines the advantages of Ethernet protocols and the simplified structure using optical fibers, leading the new generation of all-optical campus networks. Therefore, it is the best choice for customers to build high-quality all-optical campus networks.

CloudEngine S12700H• Ultra-high density: The CloudEngine S12700H supports installation of PEN cards. This allows for a maximum of 512 x 10GE ports on the entire device.
• Ultra-high speed: 2.5GE/10GE all-optical indoor access. When working with remote units and Wi-Fi 7 APs, it meets high-density wired and wireless access requirements and provides ultra-high-speed uplink rates.
