In addition to cookies, we may also use other similar technologies on our websites such as web beacons and pixel tags. For example, when you receive an email from Huawei, it may contain a click-through URL that links to a Huawei web page. Huawei shares your personal data with its partners and suppliers, as described in this Policy, when services are provided by partners and supplier authorized by Huawei. For example, we may share your personal data with the logistics provider to arrange shipment or a partner to provide services. The processing of personal data in relation to our partners and suppliers is always commissioned by us and the parties will act only on our behalf as data processors. Huawei and its data processors shall establish technological, physical, administrative and procedural safeguards all in line with the industry accepted standards in order to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of the personal data processed; prevent the unauthorized use of or unauthorized access to the personal or prevent a personal data breach.
In addition, as a global company, we may share personal data with Huawei affiliates and subsidiaries which may support Huawei business and provide us with certain supporting services, for example with data storage/hosting services. Your personal data may be shared within Huawei group of companies only for explicit and legitimate purposes and sharing will be limited exclusively to the personal data necessary for these purposes, in compliance with applicable laws. To comply with applicable laws or respond to valid legal procedures, Huawei may also disclose your personal data to law enforcement or other government agencies. If Huawei is involved in a restructuring, merger & acquisition, or a bankruptcy or liquidation lawsuit in a given jurisdiction, your personal data may be disclosed in connection with the transaction. Huawei may also disclose your data when appropriate, for example, to execute Terms and Conditions, when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or when it is in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.

The security of your personal data is important to us. Please note that if a dispute would arise between you and Huawei the default retention period, your personal data will be retained until the dispute has been settled or other-wise solved. In such cases, we might disclose your personal data to our legal advisors.
We will maintain your registration information as long as your account is necessary for service provision. You can choose to deregister your account. After you deregister your account, we will stop providing you with products and services through your account and delete your relevant personal data to the extent possible. Please note that in certain circumstances we may not be able to erase the information you requested, for example where Huawei has an overriding legitimate interest for further data processing or where erasure would prohibit the establishment of a legal defense or exercise of legal claims. In such cases you will be informed promptly and given full reasons for that decision.
Huawei is a global company, which means that we may transfer your personal data to our affiliated companies (including our parent company Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., located in China) some of which are outside EU, as well as to its suppliers and service providers as outlined above. For any such transfer, Huawei will ensure that your data is adequately protected by all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and will take action to ensure that the data we have collected will be processed in compliance with this Policy and local law. In a case our supplier is located outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure the adequate level of protection of your personal data with appropriate safeguards by using standard contractual model clauses approved by the European Commission.
