[Shanghai, China, September 18, 2025] During HUAWEI CONNECT 2025, at the inaugural Huawei Data Center Innovation Summit themed "Leading AI DC Innovation for an Intelligent Future", Huawei, together with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), Thailand's KASIKORN Business Technology Group (KBTG), and Nigeria's Fidelity Bank (Fidelity), jointly released the Intelligent Computing Network (AI Fabric 2.0) Research Report (hereinafter “the Report”). The Report outlines the evolution trends and challenges of data center networks in the AI era, identifies key technology directions for generational evolution based on the three layer architecture of AI Brain, AI Connectivity, and AI Network Elements, and showcases Huawei's technological leadership and influence in intelligent computing network solutions for the AI era.

According to the Report, with the rapid development of AI technologies, data centers are evolving from service centric to compute centric, and networks are transitioning from traditional connectivity into the era of intelligent computing networks. AI driven innovation is propelling data center networks toward three major dimensions: ultra large scale, intensive deployments; single architecture support for exponential compute demand; and converged architectures for general purpose and intelligent computing. At the same time, continuously growing compute demand is driving data center networks toward next generation architectures with greater scale, higher performance, and enhanced reliability.
In response, Huawei has introduced its intelligent computing network solution for the AI era. AI Brain: Delivers three level automation across services, networks, and O&M, redefining network management models.
• At the service layer, the runbook-driven drag and drop orchestration tool and over 10 preset scenario APIs shorten service rollout cycles to within weeks.
• At the network layer, the integrated network security architecture and AI policy algorithm help automatically generate network and security configurations with 100% change accuracy.
• At the O&M layer, an integrated application network system enables fault location within minutes, while a knowledge graph combined with AI algorithms proactively warns of over 40 high frequency risks across five major categories, shifting network management from reactive response to proactive prediction.
AI Connectivity: Breaks the limitations of passive transmission in traditional networks, reshaping compute flow paths through "device network synergy, end to end reliability, and intelligent scheduling."

• The iReliable technology, built on the Rock Solid Architecture, achieves millisecond level failover and improves network reliability tenfold.
• The Network Scale Load Balancing (NSLB) algorithm series delivers network wide load balancing, boosting training/inference performance by over 10%.
AI Network Elements: Addresses the differing demands of AI training (high bandwidth, burstiness) and inference (high concurrency, low latency).
• FLB balancing and token balancing algorithms achieve over 95% throughput efficiency and 400 ns level ultra low latency.
• Intrinsic security technologies and group-based isolation capabilities comprehensively enhance network security.
