·       This "HUAWEI Malaysia Wi-Fi 7 Capture & Connect Challenge" & prizes (the “Contest”] is brought to you by Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter refer to as “Huawei”), having its registered address at Suite 12-01, Level 32, Integra Tower, The Intermark, 348 Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Please read the following terms and conditions ("T&Cs") carefully.

·       By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to the following terms and conditions, and you confirm that you satisfy all contest eligibility requirements as provided herein below:

·       ELIGIBILITY: You must be an individual legal resident of Malaysia, and not be prohibited under the laws of your country to participate in any games of chance and/or skill (including this Contest). You must be of age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contest. Huawei employees (including temporary and contract-basis employees, and employees of outsourced staffing service providers), their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors, advertising /contest agencies are not eligible to enter this Contest. 

·       OWNERSHIP and USAGE RIGHTS: Participants confirm that all content submitted is their original work and does not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or other rights of any third party. By submitting a video, participants grant Huawei and the Contest organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and display the content for promotional purposes.

·       PARTICIPANT CONSENT: All individuals featured in the video must consent to their appearance and the video’s submission. If any of the participants are minors, they must obtain their parental or guardian consent.

·       LIABILITY WAIVER: Huawei is not responsible for any technical issues, loss (including data loss), injury, disappointment, or damage suffered by any participant entering the Contest or as a result of entering the Contest or accepting any prize. Participants hereby release Huawei from liability for any claims, losses, or damages arising from their participation.

·       DISQUALIFICATION: Huawei reserves the right and sole discretion to disqualify any entry that violates the rules, includes for inappropriate content, is deemed offensive, or in violation of the respective social media platforms’ terms of use. We also reserve the right to delete or edit any such entry.

·       CONTEST MODIFICATIONS: Huawei retains the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

·       AGREEMENT TO RULES: In submitting an entry, participants agree to abide by the official rules and decisions of Huawei, which shall be final and binding. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the social media platforms. By participating in this Contest, you agree to comply with the respective social media platforms’ terms of use and agree to completely release them from any claims.

·       Step 1: Create a video (30 seconds to 2 minutes) demonstrating how you integrate HUAWEI Wi-Fi 7 into your business operations. You may choose from formats such as product demos, reviews, or use-case scenarios.

·       Industry Case Studies: Share successful cases of collaboration with Huawei

·       Customer Pain Point Solutions: Demonstrate how Huawei WiFi 7 addresses real-world challenges

·       Technical Endorsement: Recommend Huawei WiFi 7 from a professional/technical perspective

·       Comparative Testing: Showcase the technical advantages of Huawei WiFi 7

·       Partnership Experience: Share your experience working with Huawei

Focus on highlighting key features ultra-fast wireless, privacy security, connection security, simplifies deployment, asset security, self-healing faults, space security and VIP assurance. Ensure the video aligns with Huawei’s brand tone: professional, innovative, and customer-centric.

·       Step 2: Post your video on social media, e.g. Facebook Reels / LinkedIn / Instagram Reels and more.

·       Step 3: Hashtag #HUAWEICaptureandconnect to ensure everyone can see your amazing contributions!

·       Step 4: Submit your entry at Registration Form (huawei.com) , and get ready for a chance to WIN exciting prizes!

The first phase of contest will be held from 4 May 2026 to 30 May 2026 11:59 PM (Malaysia Time).

Evaluation Criteria

·       Communication Traffic (Number of likes): 100%

* All participating videos will be reviewed by the Contest’s organising committee based solely on the number of likes of each video and Huawei will announce the Contest result via HUAWEI Malaysia Capture & Connect Challenge Mini-site on the 30 June, 2026.

* This prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

 

How to claim the prize?

Huawei team will contact you to confirm the shipping address, and deliver the prize via express mail. The shipping fee is covered by Huawei.

The selected participants will automatically cease their right to claim the Prize if they do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not comply with these T&Cs. There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in our sole discretion. If any prize winner does not respond back to Huawei within thirty (30) days to claim their prize, then they will cease their right to claim their prize anymore and Huawei shall not be liable for the same.

We are not responsible for: (a) lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries; (b) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest; (c) any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or (d) injury or damage to your or any other computer or mobile resulting from accessing or downloading any materials in connection with the Contest.

*Huawei reserves the right for final interpretation for the Contest and the right to change without announcement. We may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in our sole discretion, change the T&Cs or cancel the Contest at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend the Contest should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorised human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest or your submission.

 

Miscellaneous

The Contest is governed by the laws of Malaysia. The Contest and all accompanying materials are © by Huawei, or its affiliates. All rights reserved. No requests for transfer or assignment or redemption of the benefits shall be entertained. Participation in the Contest constitutes the participant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official T&Cs (as modified from time to time in this regard) and you agree that all our decisions related to the Contest are final and binding on you. Winning a prize is contingent and compliant with these official rules and requirements set forth herein. Failure by us to enforce any of these T&Cs in any instance shall not be deemed to be a waiver of the T&Cs and shall not give rise to any claim by any person. The decision of Huawei shall at all times be binding and final. These T&Cs are subject to laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes or any matter arising here from.

 

Private Policy

All information (including personal data) submitted in connection with this Contest will be treated in accordance with these T&Cs and the Privacy Policy, and you consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and processing of your personal data according to the provisions of our Privacy Policy and for the purposes of this Contest.
