Enterprise products, solutions & services
[Munich, Germany, October 26, 2023] Huawei Network Summit (HNS) 2023, themed "Innovations Never Stop", was successfully held at the International Congress Center Munich. Over 500 customers and partners from 30+ countries, including Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, attended the event. It brought together industry customers, enterprise leaders, experts, and scholars to discuss the latest top-notch technologies in the network security realm as well as digital innovations in Europe. During the event, Adrian Chirita, a Huawei network security expert, delivered a speech titled "Empowering Your Security: Building a Robust Line of Defense for Enterprise Networks". The security exhibition area showcased Huawei's latest security products and scenario-specific solutions, which attracted many visitors. The summit provided an excellent opportunity for customers and partners to engage in in-depth communication on network security.
Huawei's network security expert Adrian Chirita shared the latest cutting-edge technical architecture of Huawei HiSec cloud-network-edge-endpoint integrated security and introduced the HiSec SASE security solution.
As the digital journey for businesses deepens, cyber security threats are becoming increasingly severe, with the emergence of a variety of attacks, including viruses, worms, Trojan horses, phishing, DDoS, and APTs. These attacks are multidimensional, and the number of attacks on encrypted services is on the rise. Furthermore, malware is becoming more sophisticated, using techniques such as recompilation, code obfuscation, heterogeneity, and packing at runtime to challenge traditional static detection and sandbox-based dynamic detection technologies. As a result, AI-based defense solutions are becoming imperative.
Huawei's HiSec SASE security solution adopts a cloud-network-edge-endpoint integrated multilayer architecture that can effectively prevent various cyber attacks. It offers integrated cloud management and analysis, enables enterprise O&M personnel to implement one-stop network provisioning and roll out services within minutes, and provides full visibility into the network topology, traffic, and threats. With containerized resource pools, users can provision multiple protection capabilities on demand. The solution also provides SRv6- and application-level traffic diversion, offering refined defense for various service traffic. The multi-modal key detection engine enables static and dynamic analysis to detect the latest malware and highly evasive malicious samples. Additionally, the solution features an exclusive real-time recovery technology for ransomware encrypted files, covering all ransomware scenarios. Once ransomware is detected, real-time automatic backup is triggered, and the system automatically recovers files after an attack is handled, ensuring no loss of mission-critical files. Huawei's HiSec SASE security solution offers leading technical advantages, ensuring successful digital transformation of customers.

Huawei presented its security products and solutions at the exhibition area of this summit. These solutions encompass various scenarios and have attracted numerous customers.
For campus networks, Huawei showcased the simplified branch network security solution. In this solution, the new HiSecEngine USG6500F-DL series all-in-one intelligent security gateways are used. They integrate multiple network and security capabilities, supporting LTE, PoE, and SRv6. Additionally, they can have over 10 security feature packages loaded on demand, allowing for flexible orchestration of services. By redefining branch network security with a simplified network, the Huawei solution helps address issues such as weak campus security protection capabilities, and helps customers save up to 30% on their investments.
For data centers, Huawei showcased the anti-DDoS solution. Currently, the cost of launching DDoS attacks targeting data centers is continuously reduced. Large-volume attacks frequently occur, causing data center network congestion and service interruption. Huawei's AntiDDoS series products use NP+CPU collaboration for defense acceleration and deliver a defense performance of up to 2.4 Tbps per device, six times the industry average. In addition, they can block 99% attacks in milliseconds, ensuring secure and stable running of customer services.
Looking forward, Huawei will persist in its commitment to security innovations. Firstly, we will consistently enhance our R&D investment and overcome crucial technological challenges. Secondly, we will align our cutting-edge products and solutions with the future business development direction of our customers, empowering their successful digital transformation and upgrade across various industries in Europe, while fully unleashing digital productivity.
