[Shenzhen, China, May 18, 2023] During Huawei Asia Pacific Partners Conference 2023, Huawei successfully held its MSP session, bringing together industry leaders, business elites, technology experts, and association partners from all over the Asia-Pacific ISP and MSP industries to discuss the trends and challenges of the global Managed Service market growth, how Huawei’s MSP solutions leverage its advantages to serve customers, as well as the best practices. In the session, Singapore EmiNET and ROOTS both signed MOUs with Huawei to promote development of the Asia-Pacific ISP/MSP industry.
In the opening speech, Nicolas Ma, President of Huawei’s Asia Pacific Enterprise Business Group, said, “Managed Service has become a common understanding and the biggest opportunity in the industry, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. It is estimated that the market space will exceed 41 billion US dollars by 2024. Therefore, Managed Service will be the clear and certain direction for all the ISP in the next five years. It will serve families and enterprises to provide high-quality connections and enable digital transformation and upgrade of various industries.”
Nicolas Ma, President of Huawei’s Asia Pacific Enterprise Business Group, delivered an opening speechHuang Dachuan, CTO of Huawei’s Global Enterprise Business Group, delivered a speech entitled “Delivering Differentiated Managed Services with Partners”, giving an overview of the rapidly growing Managed Service market, and demonstrating how Huawei’s MSP solutions can yield significant capabilities for customers with managed services. He stated, “With over 30 years of ICT experience, Huawei has established a dedicated team to serve ISP/MSP customers and has deployed networks for more than 6000 ISPs. The solutions provided by Huawei include Network as a Service (NaaS) to provide best experience of connectivity for more users; Storage as a Service (STaaS) to provide refined data storage services for higher revenue; managed IT service to achieve intelligent high-level services with lower TCO.”
In another separate MSP MOU Signing Event, Singapore EmiNET and ROOTS both signed MOUs with Huawei to jointly promote the development of the Asia-Pacific ISP/MSP industry.
For EmiNET, the partnership journey commenced in Aug 2014 to provide Huawei Storage and Switch solution for hotel deployment. Subsequently, EmiNET has been working closely with Huawei for several projects and major deals with customers from various industries such as F&B, hotel chains, service apartment, and entertainment.
Singapore EmiNET signed the MOU with HuaweiROOTS is a Singapore-based, telecommunications enabler that has earned its reputation for providing proven, resilient and cost-effective network and security infrastructure solutions to its customers. It has grown to become one of the choice solutions providers for enterprises and mobile operators and the likes. Huawei collaborates with ROOTS to serve customers across various industries, such as ISPs, healthcare, education and utilities, with its FTTO and CloudCampus Solutions.
